Who We Are
Margot Lansing
Margot Lansing has lived in Wellesley for many years.
She has over 30 years of experience in higher education
as a faculty member, administrator, and consultant. A
graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder, she received
her doctorate in French Literature from the University of California
at Berkeley and taught at a variety of institutions. For ten years,
Margot served as Associate Director of Admissions at Brandeis.
She then started her own executive search consulting firm specializing
in higher education. She is involved with Wellesley Neighbors and
served as the president for three years, is a board member of
Wellesley Friendly Aid and teaches ESL.

Sharon Kiernan has lived in Wellesley for 22 years with her husband
and two daughters. She worked in the publishing industry for many
years at companies including The New York Times, Ziff Davis Publishing,
and Future Network. Sixteen years ago she earned her Master's Degree
in Elementary Education from Lesley University and became a third
grade teacher at the Amos A. Lawrence School in Brookline, MA.
Sharon and her family are committed to helping others and have
volunteered as a family in New Orleans, West Virginia, and closer to home
at Newton Wellesley Weston Committee for Community Living,
Birthday Wishes, Stray Pets in Need, and Family Promise MetroWest. Sharon is a
board member of Wellesley Friendly Aid.
